Welcome to the Fundraising Page of Kate's Crazy Cool Christmas
This Christmas campaign was birthed out of Kate's own battle with aggressive brain cancer. In 2009, she was hospitalized while undergoing chemotherapy and was unable to spend Christmas or her birthday, December 26th, with her family or friends. It was then we decided to encourage others in the same isolation and fight for their lives. As Kate has continued to encounter multiple relapses we have continued to carry on this tradition, now for the 9th year.
The reality is that brain cancer has become the deadliest form of childhood cancer. Some patients have an excellent prognosis however, therapy and/or location of the tumor can cause significant life change. Other patients have a very poor prognosis with only 20% surviving the disease despite aggressive therapeutic intervention.
Kate and our family desire to send families fighting these dangerous pediatric cancers gift cards to assist in the additional costs and to bring hope and encouragement to those suffering.
Here you can make on online tax deductible donation through this site which will purchase gift cards for the aforementioned patients. ALL donations will be directed to other families fighting pediatric brain cancer this Christmas and beyond.
Thank you for your love and compassion towards Kate and for the many others around the country.
