Welcome to the Fundraising Page for Priscilla Lizarraga
Priscilla Victoria Lizarraga, was only 15 years old when she was diagnosed with aggressive Osteosarcoma on May 4, 2017.
We will always remember how bravely she fought cancer.
To follow our family's journey, please read the blog entries below. It is the best way to keep up-to-date.
We ask for three things from all who read this: 1. Prayers. They are so important to us. 2. If you can help with a donation to assist with the finances it would be greatly appreciated. And, 3. If you want to get involved and help beyond a donation, consider becoming part of the PrisforLife team and create your own fundraising page to supprt Priscilla.
Thank you for all your love and support.
Priscilla's Update Page
Feb 18: Where to begin?
For the last few weeks, Priscilla has been in Pediatric Intensive Care because of the cancer. It's speed to her lungs as well as all over her body. Her lungs collapsed which meant she had to be on a ventilator. Still, she keeps on fighting.
Her spirit is amazing! She knows that her condition is not good but she doesn't seem to let it bother her. But it's been a very hard week.
We had hopes from last week that she might be able to be moved out of PICU, but that doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon.
Today, her school came to present her with here diploma. The father gave her confirmation. This isn't the way that I imagined she would receive either one.
The doctors said that the latest scan showed the cancer has moved into her lungs and is growing fast. Right now, we're just trying to be with her for every moment.
Still, she keeps on fighting.
